Privacy Policy

• Account information: your email address, and if you sign in with Google, your name and profile photo from your Google account.
• Profile content: anything you choose to add — bio, work experience, education, projects, pursuits, skills, achievements, and any images you upload.
• Usage data: basic analytics like profile view counts (shown to you on your dashboard) and pages you visit, used to keep the product working and to show you your own stats.
• Messages & connections: the content of messages you send through Kobbl, and who you're connected to.

We use your information to operate your profile and the features you use (connections, messaging, applications, bookmarks, endorsements); to show you relevant people and opportunities (e.g. network search filters); to send you notifications you've opted into (connection requests, application updates) — you can turn these off anytime in Settings → Notifications; and to keep the Service secure and prevent abuse. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models, and we do not sell your personal information.

Kobbl runs on Supabase (database, authentication, and real-time messaging infrastructure) and is hosted on Vercel. These providers process your data on our behalf, under their own security and privacy commitments — they don't independently use your data for their own purposes. If you sign in with Google, Google processes the OAuth sign-in per its own privacy policy. We don't share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers, and we don't sell it.

Kobbl uses a small number of essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in (your session) and to remember lightweight preferences (like whether you've already registered a profile view, so repeat visits don't double-count). We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your profile, pursuits, projects, messages, and connections are permanently removed from active use. Some data may briefly persist in backups before being purged on our regular backup rotation, but it's not accessible through the Service after deletion.

You can view and edit almost everything Kobbl holds about you directly in the app — your profile sections, notification preferences, and visibility settings are all self-service under Settings. You can export your resume as a PDF at any time from your profile. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data yourself, from Settings → Danger Zone, without needing to contact us. If you'd like help with any of this, or have a request our self-service tools don't cover, email hello@trykobbl.in.

Kobbl isn't intended for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from children under that age. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.

If we materially change how we collect or use your data, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where practical, notify active users in-app. We encourage checking back periodically.
