Terms of Service

Last updated August 8, 2026

Kobbl is an early-stage, founder-run product. This document is written in plain language to be genuinely readable, and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. If you have concerns about a specific clause, reach out — see Contact below.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or otherwise using Kobbl (the "Service", available at trykobbl.in), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time — see "Changes to These Terms" below for how we'll handle that.

The Service

Kobbl is a professional-identity platform: a single profile that works as your portfolio, resume, and digital business card. You can list your work experience, education, projects, and pursuits (what you're currently building), connect with other members, message your connections, and apply to opportunities others post. Kobbl is deliberately not a social network — there is no feed, no likes, no follower counts, and we intend to keep it that way.

Accounts & Eligibility

You need an account to use most of Kobbl's features. You can create one with an email and password, or by signing in with Google. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use Kobbl. You're responsible for making sure the information on your profile is accurate and belongs to you.

Acceptable Use

When using Kobbl, you agree not to:

  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or organization
  • Post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, or infringes someone else's intellectual property
  • Use Connections or Messaging to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages
  • Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data
  • Use automated means (bots, scripts) to create accounts or interact with the Service without our permission

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Content You Post

You own the content you add to your profile — your bio, work history, project descriptions, images, and anything else you upload. By posting it, you grant Kobbl a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and distribute that content as part of operating the Service (for example, showing your public profile to visitors, or including your project in a shareable digital card). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where a copy has already been shared elsewhere by another user (e.g. a bookmark saved before deletion).

Connections & Messaging

Connecting with another member lets you message them directly and see more of their profile if they've restricted visibility to connections. Messages are delivered in real time and stored so you can see your conversation history. Please don't use messaging for anything you wouldn't say to someone's professional face — harassment or abuse through Kobbl's messaging is a violation of these Terms and grounds for account suspension.

Third-Party Sign-In (Google)

If you choose to sign in with Google, Kobbl receives basic profile information (your name, email, and profile photo, per Google's consent screen) to create and authenticate your account. We don't post on your behalf or access other Google services. You can review or revoke Kobbl's access at any time through your Google Account settings.

Termination & Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. This permanently removes your profile, pursuits, projects, messages, and connections — it cannot be undone, and we can't recover it for you afterward. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, and we'll try to notify you why when we do.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Kobbl is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content posted by other users is accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kobbl and its founder aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing here limits liability where the law doesn't allow it.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Kobbl grows. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where practical, let active users know (e.g. via a notification in-app). Continuing to use Kobbl after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
